FAQ / Using GeoLead
What is a Google Maps scraper, and what data can I get?
A Google Maps scraper is a tool that searches Google Maps for businesses matching a category and location, then extracts their public listing data into a structured, downloadable format instead of you copying it out by hand.
For every business GeoLead finds, you can request: business name, category, address, phone number, website, star rating, review count, price level, opening hours, map coordinates, and the Google Maps listing URL. You choose exactly which fields you want per search — GeoLead only collects what you've requested.
Optionally, GeoLead can also attempt best-effort contact enrichment: visiting the business's own website to look for an owner/contact name, personal email, phone, address, and social media profile links (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube). This is never guaranteed — Google Maps itself has no owner-identity field at all — so enrichment results are always labeled separately from core listing data, with a confidence level.
